Dental implants can be used to replace a single tooth or a range of teeth and offer a solid foundation onto which crowns and bridges or dentures can be attached, giving you something that is as close as possible to the real thing. Much like natural teeth, implants will generally last for as long as you look after them and being a well-established and widely practiced treatment, complications are rare provided you visit your dentist regularly.

Titanium is unique in that over time your bone will fuse directly to the metal, giving it greater stability and decreasing the chance of (rare) complications.
Implants aren’t cheap but they do offer a genuinely long-lasting solution and can mean less damage to surrounding teeth than conventional bridges , which normally require some slimming-down of adjacent teeth. They can also offer a real alternative to removable dentures, replacing them with permanently fixed bridgework instead.
