Root canal treatment – a way to save your natural tooth.

Our mouths host a complex society of microorganisms—some are good, while others are bad.

There are three main ways these harmful microorganisms can enter a tooth and damage the nerve or cause a bone abscess: tooth decay, gum pockets, and cracks in the tooth.

If the tooth is deemed saveable, a deep cleaning of the tooth and its roots is needed. Dimitar (Dimi) holds an MSc in Endodontics, which allows him to perform more complex root canal treatments than general dentists. He uses specialised isolation around the tooth, and the procedure is performed under an operating dental microscope in one or two visits. To maintain the integrity of the tooth and better seal the root filling, a full cuspal coverage—such as an overlay, onlay, or crown—will be needed.

Composite (White Filling Material) Teeth Reconstructions for Front and Back Teeth

There are three main techniques that dentists use to restore or reshape natural teeth with composite material to a high standard:

  1. Freehand
  2. Injectables
  3. The Bioclear Method

Dimi has completed numerous courses in all three methods, training at prestigious institutions from the Eastman Dental School to the Dominic Hassall Training Academy. He is a fully certified Bioclear provider and is happy to consult with any patient who requires this treatment.

Dimi has been performing this advanced work for the last 15 years across several practices in Newbury, Thatcham, Marlborough, and Old Basing. He firmly believes that nothing is better than our own natural teeth, and he will be happy to assess and advise any patient requiring this treatment.

Orthodontics – creating a more confident smile.

We are now able to offer either fixed or removable orthodontics.

Invisalign braces are clear, removable aligners made from a medical grade polymer material that straighten teeth more comfortably and often faster than traditional metal braces, with treatment sometimes taking as little as 6 months depending upon complexity.

Invisalign is a brand of transparent, removable orthodontic aligners used to straighten teeth. They apply gentle, consistent pressure to move teeth and are worn 20–22 hours per day. Children (6+), teens, and adults can use Invisalign. It works for mild to complex cases including crowding, gaps, overbite, underbite, crossbite, open bite, and more. Some people see results in weeks. Many complete treatments in about 6 months, depending on complexity.

Invisalign provides a discreet, comfortable, and flexible alternative to traditional braces while effectively treating a wide range of orthodontic issues.

Fixed Orthodontics

Fixed orthodontics, commonly known as fixed braces, are a reliable method to straighten teeth and correct bite issues using brackets and wires attached to the teeth.

Fixed braces involve attaching metal or ceramic brackets to the teeth, connected by wires that apply gentle, consistent pressure to gradually move teeth into proper alignment over time. Unlike removable aligners, fixed braces remain in place throughout treatment, ensuring continuous correction.

Fixed braces are suitable for teenagers and adults who need to correct crooked or misaligned teeth, overcrowding, bite issues such as overbite, underbite, or crossbite
They are particularly effective for complex dental problems that may not be fully addressed by removable aligners

Fixed orthodontics remain a trusted and effective solution for achieving a healthy, straight smile, particularly for individuals with moderate to severe alignment or bite issues.

Desislava has completed Comprehensive Invisalign training to become a provider and also in 2023 obtained her Diploma in Fixed Orthodontics.
